Pinot Noir 2022

Gryn Vineyard

Mount Gambier

The second Pinot Noir created from the same Mt. Gambier fruit is a more classic and refined rendition; an expression of the quintessential Pinot Noir style.

With a smokey profile and complex structure, it’s sombre and intimate. Open top, hot and fast fermented, omitted the confectionary esters, resulting in a more savoury outcome with layers and complexities.

The introduction of a new French Oak Puncheon for the resting stages of this Pinot emphasised that moody and smokey direction.

More detail about the process of the two wines can be read in a two-part Article — PART ONE and PART TWO.
